Maybe she has a REALLY strong arm?

No amount of strength is going to help if no part of your body is between the gun and the direction it wants to go, which is counter-clockwise with her trigger finger as the fulcrum. Maybe if she had strong fingers she could hold the gun in place by the grip, but we're talking robot-level strength here.

It's not that big a problem, she's not shooting it yet so she can still place her thumb in the right place before that. It's incredibly awkward to hold the gun like that, I doubt she's stupid to not notice that.
