32歳の元・怪獣専門清掃業者。謎の小型怪獣を飲み込んでしまったことにより「怪獣８号」となってしまうが、幼馴染で日本防衛隊第３部隊隊長であるミナとの約束を果たすために再起し、第３部隊の一員に。解放戦力はまだまだだが、清掃業で培った知識を武器に怪獣討伐に貢献する。怪獣10号による立川基地襲撃で、仲間たちの前で「怪獣８号」の姿に変身してしまい、防衛隊に捕らわれてしまう。

32 Years old. Formerly a member of a Kaiju cleanup crew. Swallowing a mysterious larva transformed him into “Kaiju No. 8”. Despite that, he still joined the Third Division to keep his promise to his childhood friend Mina Ashiro, who is now the Third Division’s captain. His unleashed combat power is low, but he helps in battles against the Kaiju by using the knowledge he gained from his time on the cleanup crew. During Kaiju No. 10’s attack on Tachikawa base, he transformed in front of his comrades and was captured by the Defense Force.
