Seems it's already time for Comiket 2011 to kick off.

I got caught up in a whirlwind of personal affairs, like moving to a new place, after I finished the master map for Ten Desires, but somehow the finished product came through.

I'm going to guess it's either an oni or something with animal ears, as you can see two sharp objects coming up from her head. It could also be a jester hat. I actually thought it looked kind of like a Prismriver at first though.

Now hold on a minute there, just because it's not Mima on the cover, it doesn't mean there isn't still a chance she'll show up somewhere.

Indeed he is lol. On a serious note though, since IN, the person on the cover has been the Stage 6 boss. So, here's to hoping she's the EX boss!

Damn, but that is some cold, hard trolling by ZUN!!! I think it's safe to say Mima will never appear again. If ever there was a game whose plot was practically tailor-made for her to reappear, at least as an EX-Boss, this was it, and it didn't happen.

That would have been a masterful return/plot twist for her. For an evil spirit to end up manipulating the representatives of Taoism and Buddhism to fight each other while she snatched up the Divine Spirits for her own plans would have made her a maginificent b*stard!

On another note, am I the only one to find a lot of the new characters rather lackluster? The only real stand-outs are Miyako, Mamizou, and Toyosatomimi and while I can understand the recycling of characters given the plot kind of revolves around the Myouren Temple, it was pretty boring for Zun to re-use three characters as bosses/mid-bosses.
