Artist's commentary
Whenever I draw a single piece of illustration,
I always imagine the story before and after it
I make a few rough sketches with a pencil,
kinda like quick notes
This is one of those sketches that I added color to 😊🌸🌸
When everyone knew that they could go on a trip
to celebrate the 10th anniversary,
They must have been so happy...
Even just shopping to get ready for the trip
must have been incredibly fun...
That’s what I was imagining as I drew this ✏️
Also, while I was drawing,
I kept thinking over and over,
“I’m so glad for them, I’m so glad…”
And before I knew it,
my nose was all stuffy and my vision all blurry
as I kept drawing.
