    "I was looking at the stars. I didn't want to look at the real ones." -Anthy in this scene

    Anthy not wanting to look at the real stars symbolizes her not wanting to face reality, because she feels guilty for what is happening to Utena at that moment. The Deltarune dark worlds represent escapism through fiction. Kris adventures through these false realities to work towards an end goal, likely fueled by guilt (I do believe the theory that Kris's promise to the phone caller and their repressed trauma has to do with Dess's disappearance). Dess/the Knight is associated with stars and made the dark fountains.

    Idk where I'm going with this. But I saw Kris drawn in a scene about stars and ignoring reality and thought that was a pretty cool connection.
