True. We have many proofs of the unspeakable atrocities that British savages inflicted to the poor Welsh, the oppressed Scottish, the miserable Irish, and of course the poor French. All of them got victimized by the toothless Monarchists for centuries.

Is it supposed to be sarcasm? Bc the British unironically oppressed and committed unspeakable atrocities against the Scottish, the Welsh and especially the Irish. Look up the Tudor conquest of Ireland, the almost genocidal war of Cromwell or the Great Irish Famine.
And even the French suffered atrocities from the British during the wars. For 20 years during the Hundred Years War Edward the Black Prince ravaged most of France's countryside during his chevauchees.

I just don't want to start a serious discussion about atrocities because I'm on the edge of a depression right now and I really don't want to actually delve into the gruesome way they executed Scottish resistant, or what they did to the Irish. Such horrors are not...and never were...the exclusive domain of European colonizers, nor can it be said it was actions that only happened in the past. I don't condone colonizing invaders doing it, but I also don't condone anyone else doing it.
For anyone curious what the comic is referring to, it's about a Good Friday tradition that some Catholic countries like Mexico do where they reenact the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. But in the Philippines, which I learn from the tv show Ripley's Believe it or Not, some believers take it further where they not only reenact the Crucifixion, but also get bloody whipped for real and get crucified with real nails staked into their palms!
Thankfully, most Filipinos don't do this on Good Friday since only a handful of people would do this with the local Catholic church discouraging the practice as they see it as "Spiritual vanity" and prefer people pray and reflect on Good Friday and Health Officials warning people that doing real whipping and staking might cause infections like Tetanus.

You're talking about what could be considered petty "tribal wars" that killed thousands over many centuries, compared to out-right genocide that killed millions over the course of a few decades. The Aztecs were no saints, but their blood-lust pales in comparison to destruction of the Conquistadors brought for "Gold, Glory, and God", in that order. Learn history before speaking again.

Nobody has said "it's bad for colonizers to murder or rape but it's bloody fantastic for natives to do it towards themselves". There has been no "condoning" of any sort.
And considering the actual context of how this conversation started, "The Shining Path" would not be apropos. Indeed, this seems like a blatant attempt at trying to swipe at somebody's political views without actually contributing to the conversation.
