Yes, they have lives outside of the vtubing gig, but we as viewers don't get a thorough picture of it. We only know what they tell us.
So, yes, this is a shocking development.
I am just curious as why? Are most fans in some kind of delusional denial that vtubers exists only for them? I mean they are getting thousands of viewers with virtual so even dense people can acknownledge that won't suddenly go away when they stop streaming where as in real life you get attention with just a smile.
Agencies don't hire underaged people and I would assume many of popular vtubers are past 30 due their preferences in games/music etc. and in general pop culture knownledge. If women miss their chances, it is game over. Empty egg carton-meme is hard truth.
Though I must admit I am not hardcore fan and not paid member to any vtuber nor have ever purchased merch, just listen many who do sing/karaoke.

What I read it was known her previous life/avatar LL (I don't really know where limits on mentioning them go) before H-agency was known to have bf and mentioned in stream and future groom is same person. That is all from one post where I had to look up why people were going nuts. Seems a bit weird to go nuts for info that non-follower dramafag (Referencing to myself, I know what I am) can find easily.

Most vtuber fans don't go out of their way to look stuff like that up. Unless you were a fan before she joined Holo, you would have no idea of any of this, and the aversion to talking about past lives would have deterred people from bringing up this information while she was in Holo.

Fair enough. Not really fan-type person and I relish on dirty details so won't ever see eye to eye with fan. Almost all of my vtubing knownledge comes when something drama happens I and get suckered in to see juiciest details. Just a curious thought as why their view differs so much.
I guess to me most vtubers are just trendy disposables (Yeah, cruel but closest to truth) as it is with most entertainment for people like me, which I can only assume is sacrilege for fans.
For example this whole Vshoujo-debacle has been absolute gold on entertainment value for people like me.
Whole idol fandom been bit weird for me always anyway even though I have favorite bands/favorite artist my thought progress is completely different. Pretty much none of them still have original members, gone solo or are simply dead.
