ある日の、トレーニングコース。
同期のトレーナーを見かけて声をかけた。
彼女の頬には、わずかに赤が差している。

「練習風景、観させていただきましたっ！
流石の指導力ですね、刺激を受けました。
……私も、負けていられません」

「私も、負けない……むん」

「ミーク！　……そうね、言い直します。
――私たち、負けませんから。
共に、切磋琢磨していきましょう！」

その宣言は、青空のように澄み渡り。
その虹彩は、春の木漏れ日のように輝いた。

"Hey there!"

One day, I'm on the training track when I see a fellow trainer and call out to her.
Her cheeks are slightly flushed.

"I saw you training! Your coaching was so amazing. It left me inspired. ...I won't lose to you."

"Yeah, me neither. Hmph."

"Meek! Ah... you're right. I should clarify.
We won't lose to you.
I'll give this rivalry my all, so you should too!"

Her proclamation rings out as clear as the blue sky, and her eyes sparkle like the sun filtering through the leaves in spring.
