Remilia and Flandre are weak to the sun by Touhou canon only; the misconception of vampires being weak to the sun came from an old silent film wherein Dracula died with the sunrise, though his death was due to other causes.

just to clarify. Vampires are canonically weak to the sun, but not as in they die. Rather, they become their true form: Rotting corpses, when exposed to sunlight, rather than their charismatic selves.

Alternatively, Vampires are at their strongest under the light of the noontime sun because their shadow is the smallest at that point.
There is no canon to vampire myths, there are just too many variants throughout all of history. Only in the past century have vampires and zombies split from each other (zombies being inspired by the feral vampires from the novel "I Am Legend") before that any physical undead that prey on the living were called vampires no matter what their technical details and weaknesses were. Most of the time they weren't even blood suckers, they just ate people.
This post is full of win.1st is Cirno is so weak to the Sun,even her swimsuit melts, with Reimu's charisma break from what she saw. Then there's Eirin resting her breast on Remi's head, triggering jealousy:D
