ゆかりさんと結婚したけれどあまりお金がないマスター。指輪は諦めて温泉旅行で少し贅沢をするという提案にゆかりさんも同意します。雪見露天風呂を二人でまったり満喫。旅館の晩御飯も大満足。その後、思い出話で盛り上がりつつも時間は24時。「そろそろ寝ますか？」とゆかりさんが呟くとマスターが小箱をそっとゆかりさんに手渡します。開けるとそこには指輪が。「高いものじゃないんだけど、やっぱり形に残るものがないと寂しいしね」ゆかりさんは眼に涙を溜めマスターに抱きつくのでした。

They both relax in an outdoor bath with a view of the snowy mountains all around. The dinner at the ryokan is also a feast. Then they go over old memories as they talk until midnight. "It's not fancy, but it felt sad not to have something tangible, you know?" Tears well in Yukari-san's eyes and she holds Master in her arms.
