Roasted Sweet Potato Gathering. A common autumn activity in Japanese elementary schools is to roast sweet potatoes with a campfire, with said campfire sometimes being made from a pile of fallen autumn leaves as shown here. The sweet potatoes, wrapped in foil and paper, are placed on the fire until cooked.
