But you have to take into account at this point that Madokami re-wrote the rule of Puella Magi, making magical girls safer to handle.

Take the Magi over. Come back. Take the Box over. Come back. Take the Witch over. Not that hard.

Too easy. Its an easier version of an already easy riddle.
The original has 3 things connected by food chain.This has a box, Mami and Charlotte.

Obviously nothing would harm the box.The box weigh nothing and worth nothing, so either bring it along or discard the box.

That mean you can take either one of the other two(Mami or Charlotte) to cross the river for the first time.

However, if you put cake in the box......
