114.8 degrees F. I find it easier to remember that from freezing to boiling Fahrenheit is a 180 degree scale, the only confusing aspect is the 32 degree offset with freezing being 32. 46 x 1.8 to convert it to a 180 degree scale and then add the offset.

Indeed. Seems to have been a similar story up in the north. Southern Sweden for instance have had it brutal as well, and now the heat has moved even further north with 30 degree temperatures at the arctic circle.
Needless to say but people at those latitudes are not built for that kind of heat.

Here in the States, even up north were lucky to have the AC for it but it's insanely hot. For example 2 places I've been lately: 120° a bit west of mobile, AL and far north New Hampshire at 106°, matching the All time High.
