The more I look at this design, the more I hate it. The bling, the ridiculous hair, those long-ass skank nails, the glittery sword handle and sheath... I get that they wanted to make her overtly feminine, since apparently Taki wasn't feminine enough, but it should be possible to be feminine without being aggressively superficial and tacky.

Oh god, this. I bet her swords are hot pink and have hearts on them. The way this obnoxious design is, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
It's truly confusing just what got into their heads when designing such a character. Going by appearance alone, Taki and this girl have opposite aesthetic tastes as well as personality. Why did Taki select a peppy American cheerleader type as her successor? Is hot pink now standard ninja attire? I think there is a problem with the art design when your character resembles a show girl more than a shadow warrior.
The actual 3d model looks worse than this (meaning ugly), What the hell were they smoking when they crapped this one out? I'm gonna have to pass on this one.
This is what it looks like when a "milk cow" franchise gets pushed into the "poor dog" corner by creators -> The see how far they can push it before nobody cares about it anymore.
