There's a good reason why Nagisa's panties are white. I'll tell you right now.
Nagisa and white panties are deeply connected both visually and within a narrative.
White panties: The depths of inner emotions. Purity. Innocent.
Black tights: Boundary with the outside world. Reason. Order. Beauty.
Emotions (white) are wrapped within reason (black). Yet, there is a sign of a transparent interior. That is Nagisa's charm.
White panties are a contradiction and a symbol of "purity", "cleanliness", and "sincerity". What is seen is innocence.
That impression overlaps and doesn't contradict Nagisa's existence. The base of her elegance is in agreement with "I exist for someone."
White is not a color chosen by Nagisa. If it is Nagisa, then that is a natural color for her.
This is an extension of her self control.
Once again, Nagisa's white panties are not intended to be seen by anyone. But even so, the results will move one's heart with it "being beautiful". It is proof that Nagisa isn't hoping for love, but she'll be the one to love.
