My immediate guess is certain people's sense of young and old getting hopelessly skewed by the sort of stuff that gets uploaded here -- and that expressly includes the General-rated stuff. Then again, given that the entertainment industry in general, and Hollywood in particular, routinely casts twenty- and thirtysomething actors as teenagers....
