I was pissed off in Grandia (PS1). I gave Sue all of my Mana Eggs and she took off with them after the Twin Towers adventure when she had to leave the game. That really irritates me when a game does that.
In the final level (Inside Gaia), you could get some Mana Eggs from enemies called Gaia Aliens (the crab-like creatures); the problem was, there were no more shops at that point of the game... LMAO.
However, IMHO Nana, Saki and Mio were the best!!! (especially Mio...) It's a SHAME there are no pics of them around here!!!
Finished this game last night. Took me 65+ hours to get all the skills and get them to max. My new goal is to max my weapon skills and my magic skills, especially Feena. One spell of hers is physically demanding, needs lv.99 water and wind to unlock it. Looked at a walkthrough and saw that it uses 99 mp to use. 99 mp! Makes you wonder if it really is worth it, but heck, I have plenty of time. The real problem is on how to raise my water level for Feena. I also challenged the final boss about six times before I was bored. Then went down and headed to the Icarian City. Gonna try using the ceiling trap to raise my water level. (The guy who made the walkthrough took 81 hours just to finish disc 1! He claimes he sometimes forgets to shut it down and leaves it on for hours. He finished the game with a total of 147 hours.)
I'll try. Gonna take me a few days to attempt it. Hope you don't mind it being in black and white. I'm stuck with a PAL PS1. Gonna find a TV that can allow me to play it in color.
I don't know if it's Seldon specifically, but someone did just that. I forget the name of the video, but the ability is just "Time Stop". Let's Feena attack a lot while nobody else can do anything.
Of course it's not worth it, since the game is already plenty easy...
