You know, I am probably in the minority, but I felt the exact same way about Kyouko when I saw the episode where she fighst Sayaka. She was practically bragging to Sayaka about how she lets the familiars go around killing people so they can grow into more witches for her to hunt, and that was before she knew what would happen if her Soul Gem went dark! Made it kind of hard for me to feel sorry for her initially even with her tragic past.
