But yeah Artist!Kogasa is a black hole when it comes to food. Both her and his wife are serious about trying out various places, though with Wife!Sanae, it's more about the local than the food itself.

Kogasa-author is around his early 30s here. One of the commenters a few months back said that he's at least 41 now.

For the record, the spaghetti of the dish Sanae is holding is made with powdered green tea and sweeted azuki. So adding whipped cream and mandarin orange sections isn't THAT odd here.

The place also has BANANA-flavored spaghetti. And melon-flavored. And shaved ice with sweet mango syrup...and some sort of chili powder. The head of the restaurant is a cardinal culinary arcanist.

Man, this Kogasa would be my best friend. I always eat the most on my first meal and very little on lunch and dinner. [and that's even if I even eat anything during those two times]
