Daiichi Ruby's default outfit has a red (and purple) theme, but her Flowing Blue alt skin is predominantly blue so people joke and call this version of Ruby "Daiichi Sapphire". Sometimes a comparison with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire is drawn:
(Note that there is an actual horse named Daiichi Sapphire. So far she isn't drawn though, not even fan OC versions, since she isn't particularly successful.)
