Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil
A tribute to Touhou 6 in the style of the Mario & Luigi Cover Art (And probably a reference to the TH 90s games cover aswell...)! I decided to go back to basics with my art-style, rather than doing the M&L style, as a flexibility to lean into my style more often. I just wanted to relax on doing the M&L art style, don't worry lol. I've kind of missed doing my art style for awhile.
Also, you might be thinking why Dave & Steve are there at the right bottom corner, along with a Egg and Ball (Jerry & Zack) underneath the logo? Two words... Yukari Yakumo. She wanted to start her mischief games, so the Sleeve Brothers and Jerry & Zack are probably going to follow Reimu and Marisa to investigate the SDM incident, as they're going to be stuck in Gensokyo for a long shot (but, they don't know who Yukari is, as they're brought into Gensokyo by 'accident', so a upcoming doodle would explain that, along with a a supposed upcoming PCB similar to this, but I'm getting ahead to myself).
Inherently, part of the reason I actually had fun drawing this had to do with listening to Touhou OSTs and the remixes/arrangements (most of them that are either IOSYS for their quirky remixes or other musicians with pretty superior results that are catchy). Cirno and Flandre's themes are mostly the ones that have various remixes and arrangements, as Cirno is a meme within the Touhou Community, but Flandre takes the cake (Ronald Insanity and BeatMario) because listening to this adds a lot of Flandre's theme.
