Haermeié, a civilian Imitatia forest ranger (Imitatia is a kind of androids) accidentally slipped into a stream during her patrol. Soaked and concerned about damage to both her gear and herself, she discovered and took shelter in an abandoned fire lookout tower hidden deep in the woods. Inside, she found a long-forgotten stove and quietly set about drying herself and her gear, alone in the stillness of what once was.
