Context: David Byrne famously wore an oversized suit during performances of the song "Girlfriend Is Better" (where one of the lyrics go Stop making sense). It is best seen when watching the 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense, directed by Jonathan Demme (yes, the guy behind The Silence Of The Lambs).

P.S. When Byrne went offstage to change into that suit, the rest of the band played "Genius of Love" (which is basically a Tom Tom Club song, but Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth are Talking Heads anyway) - that song got sampled by Mariah Carey in her song "Fantasy".
