I know that Sanae is wearing a one piece... but because it's not a full shot, and she's wearing her sleeves still, it almost looks more like an evening gown with gloves.

Vampires don't have reflections, but they can be photographed and recorded on video (I need to stop watching so much Angel).

Looks like, at least in mizuki's series, that vampires cant's be filmed. Check the viewfinder screen in the last panel: inner tube, beach ball, and splashing water, but no Scarlets on the screen.

Damn, now that's a shame... I'd have bought two.

Sucks for Kogasa knowing that vampires have no reflection.

In traditional Romanian lore, vampires are simply nocturnal beings; sunlight doesn't really harm them, it just interdicts their acting at full strength. "Sunlight=destruction" was an innovation of the film "Nosferatu". "No reflections", meanwhile, may have been an innovation of Stoker's; it was thought that a silvered mirror was actually showing one's soul, and vampires were supposed to have no souls (a little odd to one like myself, who just can't see any meaningful distinction between "mind" and "soul", whether or not the spiritual exists).

Well, the soul (to some) is supposed to show your morality and personality, and so it differs from the mind, which is a dealer of information, I guess.

On a side note, I really like Remilia's swimsuit, especially the bat print on it.

The 'no showing up in pictures/videos' shows up a lot in modern works where vampires still need to be able to hunt and not be caught.

What kind of camera are you talking about? Those from the 18th century? The only cameras I know of that use mirrors are the ones who use it for the eyepiece and not the lens.

regardless, swimsuit does not equal vampire. the swimsuits should at least show in the recording

Usually, when I see something with vampires that don't show up in mirrors, their clothes don't either.
