As shown in Youmu's scenario, Kyouko, a devout Buddhist, strongly disapproves of swords. Though Youmu did rush into the temple with her sword drawn, so yeah.

Huh...well, you learn something new everyday.

In Her defense i'm sure she would be offended if someone charged the temple sword drawn and all like youmu did. Plus with momijis occupation it is something even a hater of swords would at least tolerate since it would also be used as a tool for convenience. ( clearing out thickets and other obstacles for safer passages or routes for patrolling.)
