Surely these old gods have got to be old acquaintances, I thought. Who knows, maybe they even know Eirin from before she went to the Moon! ...I got all excited, started looking into it, and found out that apparently a Suwa Shrine near my dad's childhood home also houses Haniyasuhime...
And so it turns out they really are enshrined together for a number of reasons...
This book is the result.Finding ancient pottery shards at a farm field was something that seriously happened to me at my dad's childhood home as a kid. They really were just rolling around on the ground...
