    I'm pretty sure the ax ran about ¥8000. Next time, I want an Azure Dragon Sword and some tonfa. :-)

    I went there on a separate day and bought a Conan the Barbarian sword, by the way. The sucker's heavy. There's no way you can swing it around if you don't have Conan's level of muscles. (^^;)

    i'm not translating, since i only have way too inaccurate stuff.
    but basically, kogasa bought teh axe cuz it's pretty
    sanae bought the gladius for the sound it makes and starts going dark sanae modo.
    last, kogasa says she's scary.

    I'd marry this Sanae any moment. This is exactly what'll make my daily life lively and worth living. You guys may think his wife is a maniac and put him in constant "danger", but let me tell you this: if his life is as "normal" as the rest of the world, they will get tired of each other pretty soon. Divorce, boredom, sadness and regrets. However, Sanae never put Kogasa in such situation, and they'll live together happily forever.
    Hitoshi, I envy you.

    You speak as though he's certain to die, yet he and Sanae have been together for at LEAST ten years. I should think lots of tempering/attunement would have transpired in that space of time (e.g. Sanae knowing how much force to use in castigating Kogasa without causing any physical or emotional harm).

    Heh, at first, I read "castigating" as "castrating"...

    I would say it takes a lot of skill and practice to castrate someone without physical and emotional harm.

    You do know people die sooner or later right? Why have a boring marriage just to endure it more? Die young, without a regret and be happy is much better.
