Who are you, miss?

I wonder how many of the "ZUN can't draw shit LOL" band can do better than this. For all his artistic limitations and probably under the influence of gods know how many beers, he puts up charming pieces like this one.

Oh, and by the way, I'm pretty sure she's Reimu. ZUN art shows that the girls don't suffer from a limited wardrobe, but fandom just ignores it.

But it turned out to be a young girl. (lol)
It's just that since I was drawing a poster girl, I wanted something that would grab and entice
with vivid colors and a subtle expression on the girl.
But I guess it's a pointless picture. (^^;

He just can't do hands, like a lot of artists. He also gets caught in poses he can't pull off, making them come across as awkward or leading him into anatomy mistakes.

He could be better if he didn't try so hard to replicate a fanciful, fairy tale-ish style, either the body type or coloring part. In fact, coloring is his biggest problem, more than anything else.

You might also say it wouldn't be Touhou without anything he does, good or bad. His drawings have much more personality than a lot of artists works, no matter how flawed.

I agree with you, mainly about poses. About the coloring i also agree that he comits mistakes here and there, but overall it is what atracts me about his style.

I'd say it's more that he makes bad choices with the color at times. But yeah, that's what makes ZUN art so ZUNey
