First is the rules. To gain victory, it took only 3 counts from Aya to a pinned wrestler to defeat a team. Patchy by far has the weakest constitution, and Alice is weak in close quarter combat (plus Shanghai, Hourai, etc may be constituted as weapons, (hence illegal)). The original strategy was to allocate Patchy and Alice as the seconds for Marisa and Nitori. Lack of physical training is one more disadvantageous factor in this wrestling arena where magic are severed and stamina is quickly drained.
Secondly, by accepting the challenge, Remi and Reimu (RR) has the chance to take out the brain out of Marisa and Nitori's team. Remember during the brawl outside the ring? Either Reimu or Remi can attack whomever is outside the ring. If the timing is right, RR team may quickly dispose the strategists in the beginning of the match. Remi has vampire strength and Reimu has that 'Buddha palm' technique thingie.
Thirdly, "they can only resent each others". Marisa is the pimp daddy, Patchy and Alice are her puppies, and Nitori is a potential baby. Now, this doesn't sound like a well-united team.
Patchy shouldn't take the challenge. However, it will go without saying, Marisa and Nitori will lose their ring coach as well.
I'm so hoping they tell Remi no. Surely the best comeback to Red 75% openly saying Marisa and Nitori will lose on their own and need all the help they can get is for Kirisame Familia to tell them to stuff it.
You don't think they're a threat worthy of fighting you, they'll make you see they're a threat by kicking your smug-ass all over that arena.
But somehow I doubt it'll work like that but it'd be awesome. Remi's reaction would be priceless
I suspect Remilia is just acting with "Not worthy of a threat" as I doubt they'd be so foolish as to take anyone lightly after what happened with the Higen team. I'm sure folks were snickering about Eiki's choice of outfits before the match, but afterwards? None at all.
Here's my guess: Patchy figures it out and declines, but not before Alice accepts. Mr.Obake's probably dead on here - if they get into the ring, it'll make things worse.

I'd say that as well. Out of the fight, they can't help, but in the ring, they're the easiest to pin.
Patchouli revealed the real purpose of Remilia's taunt (as suggested to Red 75% by Tewi). By saying "hit us with everything/everyone you've got 'from the start'" and getting the audience and the referee to agree with them, Remi has put Kirisame Familia in a situation where, if there is outside interference or any kind of tricks on their behalf later on, the audience will likely go ballistic on them (and Aya might just start doing her job).
She's essentially putting them on the spot to reveal their entire hand immediately instead of saving strategies for later when they'll be more effective. Tewi is a freakin' brillant strategist here! Just like that she has has nearly undone all of Pathcy and Alice's value to Kirisame Familia. And this was just something she came up with to avenge her defeated spies from before the tournament even started!
If the opposing team will reveal it now, they'll accept anything from the them!!Go for it!But Yakumo Yukari should be neutral regarding this match. Then who...?The Stage is Set...they won't allow any interferences later on.Traps are only effective depending on the circumstances. No, this is Remi, that can't be it.The Red 75% has spoken!!We've been set up.To have thought this out so well...Remilia!Episode 717: Not Either of Their TricksFrom the Artist's Pixiv page."Right now"... so in other words...That's what the referee and audiences agree to as well.If anything, she probably believes it's a fair and square suggestion. So I guess this is a good enough revenge for the team I've sent in.
In Pixiv, the author makes it clear that this was for Alice and Patchouli defeating the rabbits Tewi sent to spy on them pre-tournament.Huhu...This isn't Reimu's way of thinking either.Who planted this idea?Though this isn't exactly a fair resentment, I guess.
