    Only when it wasn't true. After all in the games Red has to let you win....well at least work for it. It is in his contract. Really if it was his way. You'd not even say "I CHALLENGE YOU, RED!" and you already lost before finishing.

    I see your Poké Ball and Mewtwo, and raise you a Premier Ball and Mewtwo.

    ...and Zapdos, and Moltres, and Articuno, and Ho-Oh, and Lugia, and--

    While I did go after the legendaries with the 10x-expensive regular-ol'-Poké-Ball this time around, I remember in Yellow Version, desperately throwing everything I had at Zapdos, until it succumbed to, yes, a regular ol' Ball.

    Mewtwo, though, yeah, that had a Master Ball used on it. Too bad Red can't be handled so simply.
