On August 21, 4th year of King Gyeongjong of Joseon(1724), Gyeongjong ate crab and raw persimmons for dinner, which is a food combination that is traditionally considered very bad in Oriental medicine. In the end, as the abdominal pain and diarrhea worsened right after the meal, the doctors were shocked to learn that Gyeongjong had eaten crab and persimmons, which are contraindicated in oriental medicine, and immediately continued to prescribe Kwakhyangjeonggisan(곽향정기산), Doushitang(두시탕), and ginseng(인삼) tea, but it had no effect, and on the morning of the 24th, Gyeongjong was completely unconscious.
