It's commonly known that you cant just cast magic with no effort - riding a broom for quite a while especially at full speed would drain your mana very quickly.

It's entirely possible that she uses her magic to fly and the broom is just there for dramatic effect. After all, she doesn't have it in Fairy Wars

Yeah I'm 90% sure it's canon she doesn't need it but just keeps it for aesthetic.
