Between Battlefields
A return gift from Richard the Lionheart.
During crucial peace negotiations, the sound of a stringed instrument played by a female musician along with her singing seized the lion's heart. It was so moving, the king declared to the opposing general, "You are my dear friend. Marry my sister and rule this land together." Ultimately, the marriage did not come to fruition. It is said—or perhaps not—that this sudden proposal led to his sister Jeanne giving him a lecture and a glare that could have frozen the blood in his veins.
Even after becoming a Heroic Spirit, the memory and mood of that feast remained etched upon Richard's mind and Richard decided that it would be a fitting return gift for his Master. Richard the Lionheart's actions were swift and bold, as befit his name, so fast that he snatched Master away before even receiving the chocolate. Had his sister been present, she would likely have given him that same icy glare as when he made that marriage proposal so long ago and said, "THAT is exactly what I'm talking about, dear brother."
