A crack pairing is one that has no basis whatsoever in the source material, and only exists because fans want it to exist. Byakuren/Nue, for example is highly improbable but not impossible, as they both live at Byakuren's temple and would spend time with each other. By contrast there is no evidence that Yuugi and Parsee have even met each other.

That does not necessarily make it a bad pairing, but not admitting that a crack pairing is crack is dishonest.
