What does Kogasa have to do with Ten desires? Does she make a cameo appearance or something? Or did they just put her in there for Sanae's sake?

Kogasa is the mid-boss for stage 3 in Ten Desires. It was quite a surprise.

Reimu doesn't exactly look uncomfortable either. More like she's trying to puzzle out if the spirit in front of her is going to turn out to be anyone important.
