    I'm no expert on Child development, but I'm fairly certain 10yo is far too old to still be using a dummy (US: pacifier).
    Also, surely she'd already gotten months and writing and shit like that down long ago?

    Considering the fact that arguably the best astrophysicist in the modern day was fucking paralyzed due to a motor neuron disease and wasn't even expected to live past like a few years after it fully settled in, then goes on to live for several decades after anyways while basically creating new theories for the universe, being blind seems like only a scratch compared to what Stephen Hawking went through.

    I'm not referring to how smart she is, I'm referring to the fact that she's a sophisticated college student now, when just a year ago she was, like, 12..
