Why not? Is it anti-Rei Ayanami feelings? Or some other reason?
Mind you, I'm actually a big beliver in Kyon-Haruhi for several reasons, beyond just 'male-lead - female-lead.' I just read v08 of the manga though, and certainly agree fully with your second comment related to 'couple cuteness' after doing so.
After reading all the novels up to this point and waiting for the 11th one (I really hope it's not the final), I just see Kyon and Yuki together. Especially with the way Kyon behaves for Yuki's sake, but I'm sure that Haruhi's probably going to be the winner. And I love Rei, despite the mindfuck that came from her.
