Unohana Retsu. Is the first Kenpachi?!

Haha! I never expected that soft spoken, gentle looking, reserved, prim and proper Shinigami captain who doesn't look like she could hurt a fly --- to be the first Kenpachi. I mean she heads the Fourth Division - composed of weakling healers and combat medics. XD

And her Zanpakuto's Shikai looked like a funny looking manta ray. Laughing my ass off!

I don't really watch Bleach that diligently - nor do I read the manga. But I found a picture uploaded by a friend on Facebook that showed Unohana... That didn't look like how I always saw her in the anime. So I rushed to see the latest Bleach chapters and...

Holy sh*t. She was THE Kenpachi. Her transformation made me flip. XD

She looked pretty but scary. Those eyes. That rape face. XD

I just had a new found respect for the character that I've always overlooked every time I watched Bleach.

I had to draw her! I wanted it a bit messy - with a lot of RED! BLOOD! And made her face look intimidating. :D (Big Grin)

By the way, this is my interpretation of her Bankai. I mean, what is up with that Bankai anyway? I don't know exactly what it does - just looks like her sword turns into a dark colored liquid and everything around gets engulfed with the same substance. It might be some black corrosive venom or... Blood. I wish it IS blood. EVIL Laughter!
