Why Nazrin, Shou and Nue speak Russian? Shou speaks wrong (She just say "Fall" then it better say "Упало!",if I got the situation in right way), so I'm sure, author isn't Russian.

The author probably just thinks Cyrillic looks / sounds somewhat cool (it does). Same thing with the frequent Japanese (ab)use of the German language.
