It looks more like they've deliberately turned around to not see it and thus not lose blood if you ask me.

It's probably more like the crew told Byakuren something silly and got her into the outfit, and Nazrin is about to bring down judgment upon them for doing such a thing.

This seems like it to me. Judgement or not it was worth it

This is a Dragon Quest/Warrior 3 reference for those who don't know. If you reach level 20 you are able to get a class change starting at level 1 in a new class while keeping some stats and spells. Getting to level 20 in the completely useless Jester class (a clown for guys, bunny girl for ladies) unlocks the Sage class for that character. Sages can learn all wizard and priest spells (pretty much all the spells in the game) and have strong fighting stats and are able to equip most warrior armor and weapons.

tl;dr Bunny Girls in Dragon Quest 3 are magicarp.
