Curren is their kanmei ("crown name"), which functions as a family name of sorts. The other part of her name is intended to be Bouquet d'Or (French: Golden Bouquet), named after the rose variety of the same name. Unfortunately they had to cut out the space to fit her name inside the IRL eighteen character limit for horse names. Like Matikanefukukitaru and Matikanetannhauser.
