Touma would be inserted as a deus-ex machina, defeating the girls with a single touch after they become witches, or rather erasing Kyubey from existence.
What always ticked me off about him was he was just a street punk class fighter, sure his hand dispells all powers, but go for the kneecaps or something. Hell, send a martial artist, and boom, defeated.

I thought the whole street fighting thing was interesting, he had to be quick on his feet and be clever and use his brain rather than go around using crazy ninja techniques or somtthing

He's a generic shonen protagonist with a few generic harem lead elements thrown in. He's arguably worse for his streetfighting skills because other shonen heroes at least have cool powers to dick around with, whereas Imagine Breaker basically exists solely to make other people's powers less awesome and to give Touma battleship-grade plot armor.
Seriously, count how many times he ends an arc in Heaven Canceller's hospital room, the only reason he survived half the series even WITH the arm is because of HC's godhaxxed healing powers.
not to mention his personality, which is pretty much zero. Amnesia and nobody noticed any difference? Really? That tells you how damn boring a character he is.
The fact he is indistinguishable from other eroge main characters only makes it worst

This is literally one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen on Danbooru.
OT, I'm not sure this should be in the Fund it! pool. The description reads: 'You wish these things actually existed.' I would pay money for it to not exist.
I still stand by my idea that if Kamijou touched a Soul Gem, they would die. I can see it now: Sayaka's soul gem falls somewhere, Kamijou goes to retrieve it to save her, he picks it up, it shatters, "Fukou da."

You mean like Kanzaki... or Acqua of the Back? Both of whom trashed Touma's ass (Acqua was stomping him even when he had an entire church of magicians backing him up; he only barely gutted out a win in the end, and Kanzaki curbstomped him without even being touched).
Point-of-fact, Touma does get his ass kicked by martial artists! He does fight enemies who use their brains to figure out ways around his right hand! He still guts out wins, and he's slowly but surely gotten much smarter and more skilled in the light novels! Haters can hate all they want, but a lot of the complaints are baseless. Whenever he fights someone who isn't a squishy mage or a psychic completely dependent on their power he gets stomped until someone else intervenes giving him an opening or he manages to get close enough to punch through either cunning or his opponent underestimating him.
As for no one noticing the memory loss, he has no truly close friends (Tsuchimikado is a spy and does know about his memory loss even if he never mentions it and Aogami is just some guy he occasionally hangs out with) and even most of his family live far away from him and never see him more than once or twice a year. Also, while it wasn't mentioned in the anime, Komoe-sensei did notice his memory loss and reminded him of as much of his previous life as possible after the situation was explained to her. Other people have figured out his memory-loss as well. Its just Touma's luck that he mostly interacts with people who did not know him that well (ie - magicians and psychics).
That said, Accelerator and Hamazura are more interesting protagonists to me, but Touma is getting better written as the light novels progress.
