At the end of 2008, in the Quantum Rise expansion, my design for the Orca got to see the light of day. The design brief was for a sub-capital freighter with a focus on support for mining operations, a little sibling to its predecessor: The Rorqual. As this was another ship that I designed and built from start to finish, there was no concept art for it, so I asked Ludvik Vidisson (Senior Concept Artist, EVE Online) to draw the piece shown here.
