I'm guessing the Hydra. It's got nine heads.

It could be the Hydra but is it is, it's a case of Did Not Do The Research. The Hydra had 3 heads originally, but when Herakles decapiated them, three heads grew from each neck (hence it's often depicted with 9) Realising what was going on, Herakles used a torch to cauterize the stumps when he decapitated those 9 heads.

Clearly, this is the beast that killed Hercules after he cut the three heads, but before he could actually kill the Hydra.

If I'm not mistaken, in the myth, the Hydra lived in a swamp of sorts, it's also known as a serpent and with no known abilities to fly, so I have to go with Tiamat with this one. You are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.
