An interesting picture. At first I thought the shades meant despair or antagonism.
If that's the case I would have thought that Homura would probably be stretched to all four. I'm kinda surprised that even Madoka is in a gray zone while Homu is completely white.Then again, maybe the shades represent death. That would make a little more sense because come to think of it, Homura never actually died, did she?
