Seems kinda weird to translate 是这样的吧 the same as 是～这样的吗 as in the last panel. The final particle of the former is, after all, a different sort of question.

I find it odd that it's translated as "Is that so...?" when it means, "Is it this way?"

It's Rumia's catchphrase. The Chinese is just a translation of そうなのか。
