Where exactly is the yuri? It's just pets being overly friendly with their owner. I mean, have you never had a pet? No? Okay, me neither.
Considering from a pet owner's perspective, pets are very affectionate to their owner/caretaker. If you take into account that Satori can read minds (including animals), the affection, or idolization, would probably double.
