In case you weren't aware, the media has already latched on to the narrative that a video game trained him to be an "assassin", but it wasn't a Pokemon game.

The game they're talking about is Among Us.

You know you hit it big when your game is used as a scapegoat for crimes caused by societal issues.

We are at the very end of 2024.
The narrative "the killer played a videogame" is so annoying now.
There are (according to an AI search on Google) ove 3 billion gamers in the world, they don't seem to be 3 billion murderers.

Saying "oh, the murderer played videogame, that must the cause for his derangement" when half the world's populace also plays videogames is so stupid.

This "villanization" of videogames shouldn't still be in vogue, it makes no sense anymore... It already made little sense when I was a kid.

We have action heroes breaking criminals necks on movies, yet the problem is surely Mario smashing some turtles on my game.
