Never in a million years would you (or I) have thought this day would come!

I've honestly wanted to draw Geno in the "Mario & Luigi" RPG artstyle for a very long time, but up until now I've never found the time nor the motivation for doing so. I've been putting it off for too long.

Now I have NO excuses!

Thanks to the 6.21.2023 Nintendo Direct announcement, Geno finally gains relevance once again in the Mario series after 27 YEARS (or 20 years if you count his cameo in M&L: Superstar Saga!), with the Super Mario RPG HD remake coming to Switch!

I've already played the original for the SNES, and it's easily one of my top RPGs I've ever played. It's great to see Nintendo (and by extension Square Enix) finally reusing their old and forgotten characters again, and now fans new and old alike can experience this fantastic game in a new light!

While I'm not a Geno enthusiast/superfan myself, I'm personally very happy for all his fans on this big win, especially after his unfortunate snub from Smash Ultimate. Personally, I believe his chances for the next hypothetical Smash game have boosted significantly ever more so now (even if it was just a SSBU port), and I'd 100% support it with welcome arms.
