In the center panel, Yang Guo's posture is the Toad Style, or 蛤蟆功, taught to him by Ouyang Feng (aka the Western Venom). Yang Guo was exiled from Taohua Island and expelled from Quanzhen School as a result of hurting his fellows with said technique.
The last instance he used it was against Li Mochou, in his attempt to rescue Xiao Long Nü.
